Jose Mendez was charged with two counts of indecent exposure and battery on a person over 14, indecent exposure, and operating as an unlicensed chiropractor clinic out of his Cross Street home, the Middlesex District Attorney said.
Mendez was being held on a $5,500 bail and can have no connection to the alleged victims.
Investigators said that on two occasions Mendez inappropriately touched two women during an adjustment, and in one case, unzipped his pants and exposed himself to a victim.
Police say Mendez got clinics through word of mouth and referrals. Officers did not say how long the illegal practice may have been in operation.
Investigators ask anyone with information about Mendez or his alleged unlicensed chiropractic operation to contact Somerville police at 617-625-1600 x7278.
Mendez returns to court on May 14.
